Our book group welcomes new members in 2026.

The group meets every second Tuesday of the month, apart from January. We read from a list of titles, from assorted genres, proposed at the start of each year. Discussions held in the Parish Hall between 1.00-3.00pm.

Love reading? Interested in challenging your mind, sharing your thoughts, and hearing what others have to say about something you’ve all been reading?

The Kaleidoscope Book Group was first formed over twenty years ago. Its enthusiastic readers continue to meet in a lively and companionable way once a month, every second Tuesday.
Like the device from which it takes its name, the group illuminates and reflects – in this case – the views, interests and experience of members.
In a friendly setting in the Parish Hall, we discuss, challenge and entertain one another with our thoughts on a set book. While discussions occasionally cover specific themes such as travel and writing, regular discussions draw from an agreed list that includes contemporary and established authors. The list also includes recommendations from members via Writers’ Week and other literary events.
